First turn it off and then turn back on to see if it will reset. If it still shows a code you can refer to the manual or call manufacture. That can tell you what the code means. If unable to get water heater to work. You can call a plumber to diagnose and repair.

First check your breaker to see if it has tripped. If you may need to call a electrician. If not tripped you could have elements that have gone out. If you are unable to repair you can call a plumber to diagnose to repair or replace.

  • My tank water heater is leaking?

Is it leaking from the top or bottom. If it is large amounts of water you can turn the water supply to the water heater off to stop the influx of water. Things that could be the issue are a leaking supply line, inlet to wate heater where water supply is or internal tank rupture. Will need a plumber to diagonse, repair or replace.

  • Are tankless water heaters more efficient?

Yes. They only heat water when there is a call for the water.

  • Will flushing my tankless make it work better?

Yes. Descaling the water heater can make it work more effeciently. We reccomend doing this once a year unless you have a self cleaning water heater.

  • Should I flush my tank style water heater?

If your water heater is old and never been flushed. We reccomend to not flush due to sediment settling and causing a blockage when moved around from flushing. If the water heater is flushed yearly it is good to continue maintenance
